NJ Conservative Leader disses Chris Christie and endorses Ted Cruz for POTUS
The Leader of New Jersey's Movement Conservatives and Tea Party favorite Steve Lonegan turned his back on his state's favorite son and agreed to head the Ted Cruz campaign for POTUS in New Jersey. Lonegan lost to Chris Christie in the 2009 GOP primary for Governor, then lost to Cory Booker in the special election for US Senator in 2013, and last year lost to Tom MacArthur in the GOP primary for Congressman to represent NJ's third congressional district.
